Who is Malolo
Dan McDougall
CREATIVE DIRECTOR
The creator of Malolo, Dan specializes in branding and graphic design. With a passion for art and eye for business, Dan has worked in the design industry professionally since 2007, going freelance in 2014 to begin Malolo.
Dan started in the publication industry - working on advertising campaigns for clients like Cadillac, Subaru, and Hertz.
He then decided to move to an industry for which he was passionate - branding and marketing for craft beer. As an instrumental part of the branding team at Taphandles, Dan worked with breweries in the startup phase all the way to big brands such as Redhook, Widmer Brothers, Kona Brewing and Dos Equis. The insights he gained at Taphandles also allowed him the opportunity to work with a local manufacturer, Blackmouth Design, designing retail projects for Adidas and Nike.
Dan now works on branding and graphic design in new and breakthrough industries while leading the Malolo team as Creative Director.
